World Theory

I’ve criticized the common translation of the original song before, and said “Un-Unified Magic World Theory” would be better, and it shows here, as the title “World Theory” likely comes from 「世界論」. This song has a pretty interesting introduction and (what I think are) the horns are nice, but I can’t say I’m a fan of the BWOM BWOM BWOM.

仄暗い部屋は 囁きに包まれ
闇へと誘うのでしょう
不可思議な力 その瞳そらせず
空虚に引き寄せられる

honogurai heya wa sasayaki ni tsutsumare
yami e to izanau no deshou
fukashigi na chikara sono hitomi sorasezu
kuukyo ni hiki yoserareru

The dim room is enveloped in whispers
likely beckoning you to the darkness
Unable to avert your eyes from the mysterious power
you’re drawn in to the void

ようこそ
夢と魔法
産まれた想いをひと纏めに
大声上げて未来へ伝えて
罪と願い
いつかは覚める夢の中では
不思議な事も起きるよ

youkoso
yume to mahou
umareta omoi o hito matome ni
oogoe agete mirai e tsutaete
tsumi to negai
itsu ka wa sameru yume no naka de wa
fushigi na koto mo okiru yo

Welcome
to dreams and magic
Put all your newborn feelings together
and send them off to the future with a big voice
Sin and desire
In a dream that will end eventually
strange things will also occur

あの日見た部屋は 今もまだ誰かを
誘い続けるのでしょう
その指でなぞり 薄れてく感覚
静かに滑り落ちてく

ano hi mita heya wa ima mo mada dare ka o
izanai tsudzukeru no deshou
sono yubi de nazori usurete ku kankaku
shizuka ni suberi ochite ku

The room seen that day is likely still
continuing to lure someone
Trace it with your fingers, and your fading senses
will silently slip away

おかえり
夢と魔法
目醒めた小さな光掲げ
閉ざした部屋を照らして届けて
罪と願い
溶けてく朝もやに映るのは
きっと素晴らしい世界

okaeri
yume to mahou
mezameta chiisa na hikari kakage
tozashita heya o terashite todokete
tsumi to negai
tokete ku asa moya ni utsuru no wa
kitto subarashii sekai

Welcome home
to dreams and magic
Holding up a small awakened light,
light up the closed room send them out
Sin and desire
What’s reflected in the thawing morning mist
is surely a wonderful world
