I Wanna be Your Moon

Requested by Tewi Inside, one of the few Zytokine songs I haven’t translated. Have you heard the crossfade for their next album, 100100? It definitely sounds like it’s going to be good. Better than Photographic Destinations, I bet. It’s amazing what the difference of having one vocalist missing can do to an album.
While I’m on the topic of Zytokine, I should also mention that they’re participating in a Marginal Space album called “Lifetime Retrospect” and putting out this amazing song.

Notes: “Old moon” is just a cool way of saying “waning moon.”
I figure Linjin meant “by your side” instead of “in your side.”
The “Bakin’” and “Breakin’” lines were not included in the booklet, and were transcribed by ear.
I wondered if those words were part of the Japanese lines, leaving the final line of each stanza to stand on its own, but then figured that the final line isn’t standing alone and that those English ones are instead. Perhaps it could be interpreted as either depending on your view, but when you translate, you can usually only pick one interpretation.

It’s funny, there are two types of songs: Ones that are easy to translate, and ones that simply aren’t. This would fall under the former, it’s a surprise how fast I could get it done.

I always enjoy lyrics about space, for this reason, I’ll recommend to you right now to take a look at “uni_Verse”
