Notes: Regarding the first line, “blood,” meaning lineage in this context, is a very loose translation. 性 more strictly means “inherent nature / disposition,” but when we talk about inborn traits, we’re right alongside the topic of genealogy. You know what I mean?
Anyway, I figured it sounded more fitting than “pure in nature.”
