Mother Nature

After hours of getting distracted over and over again, I’ve finally finished the titular track of the album. I’m a sucker for “beauty of the world” style lyrics though. Actually, scratch that, I’m a sucker for most kinds of lyrics.

★ Title: MOTHER NATURE
☆ Album: MOTHER NATURE
★ Album Artist: ZYTOKINE
☆ Vocals: cold kiss (Nana Takahashi (高橋 菜々))
★ Arrangement and lyrics: Linjin (隣人)
☆ Original Title: Broken Moon (砕月)

kotoba de egakenai yasashisa oshiete kureta no wa dare darou
mada mada koko ni nokotteru

Who were the ones who taught me the kindness that can’t be described with words I wonder
They’re still, they’re still, remaining right here

katachi ni nokosenai yuuki o oshiete kureta no wa darou
mada mada koko de utatteru

Who were the ones who taught me the courage that can’t retain a shape I wonder
They’re still, they’re still, singing right here

taiyou tsuki hikari hana kaze kasumi
komorebi yuudachi egao namida
oborodzukiyo wakaba kagerou usurai shinkirou

The sun, the moon, light, flowers, wind and mist
rays of light through the trees, evening rain, smiles and tears
misty moonlit nights, young leaves, heat hazes, thin ice and mirages

taiyou tsuki hikari aoba yuunagi
yozora soumatou egao namida
aoarashi banryoku semishigure sazanami hoshi no iro

The sun, the moon, light, fresh leaves and the calm evening sea
The night sky, revolving lanterns, smiles and tears
wind through nature, myriads of greenery, the cicada’s cries, water ripples, and the colour of the stars

kokoro o motasenai namida o oshiete kureta no wa dare darou
mada mada koko ni nemutteru

Who were the ones who taught me about the tears that don’t cause your heart fill up I wonder
They’re still, they’re still sleeping here

taiyou tsuki hikari iro no nai kaze
nagareboshi ugetsu egao namida
hoshidzukiyo ochiba tsuyu shigure tasogare kaeribana

The sun, the moon, light, and the colourless wind
shooting stars, rainy nights, smiles and tears
starry nights, falling leaves, outbursts of dew, twilight and reblooming flowers

taiyou tsuki hikari toiki kazabana
nagai yo utakata egao namida
ukinedori minamo yuki shigure mizu karu gin no iro

The sun, the moon, light, deep breaths and snow flurries on the wind
long nights, bubbles on water, smiles and tears
birds sleeping while they float, the water’s surface, snow showers, evaporation, and the colour of silver

natsukashisa o wasurete ku mou tooi omoide
kaze no kaori ni kokoro no toge o nokosu bakari

Forgetting about nostalgia, those are already distant memories
I’ll just leave my heart’s thorns on the wind’s scent

subete wa meguri nando mo kurikaesu
shunkashuutou yume egao namida
ikiru koto no hontou no imi o oshiete kureteita

Everything cycles, over and over it repeats
Spring, summer, fall, winter, dreams, smiles and tears
Everything taught me what it truly means to be alive

MOTHER NATURE

MOTHER NATURE souzou o koeta saki e
nando tsumazuitemo kamawanai

MOTHER NATURE, beyond my imagination
It doesn’t matter how many times I trip up
Even though I’m in solitude, I’m not alone, my heart is with me

MOTHER NATURE

MOTHER NATURE mirai o tsumuide yuku

MOTHER NATURE, weaving the threads of the future
wrapping up everything up with it’s love
Even though I’m in solitude, I’m not alone, the world is with me
